Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci (Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej Now Onesti) Romanian Gymnast born on November 12, 1961. She was the first Romanian to receive a score of 10 for an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics trainer who later became her coach in later years found her around the age of six. Her first competitive event was The National Junior Championships which she finished 13th in the year 1969. In 1970, Comaneci took home the title. In her teens, she began performing in touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her entertainment career in her teens. In her early years she was a figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The shows featured the ice skating of which was performed to music from the stage.
